Honorary Award - IABSE Conference Geneva 2015

We are proud to announce that the IABSE Conference Geneva 2015 has been awarded 'Honorary Award' for the most innovative conference in 2015, by the Geneva Convention Bureau Awards. Young Engineers: Opportunity to Develop Your Social Skills

YEP Board members, strongly believe that the best way to continue accomplishing our mission is letting young engineers know the multiple benefits of being an IABSE member. One of these benefits is the development of social and soft skills, which are highly demanded in the current international job market. Dean James H. Garrett Jr. , USA - The Engineers’ Society of Western Pennsylvania (ESWP) has named James H. Garrett Jr., Dean of Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Engineering, the 2016 Metcalf Award winner. The award recognises engineers who make outstanding contributions to the region. The Metcalf Award is one of the highest honors given by the ESWP, read more.


WG8: Forensic Structural Engineering

WG8, chaired by Robert T. Ratay, has published the bibliography of their papers presented at the IABSE Conference Geneva 2015 and Madrid 2014. The papers are available for download here.
