| Greece December 12, 2018 Workshop on ‘Protection of the National Wealth of Bridges’ This workshop was conducted by the Hellenic Group of IABSE to address the issue of bridge maintenance and safety, that has recently caused acute concern not only to the bridge engineering community worldwide but also to the general public. Venue was the Auditorium of Ministry of Infrastructures and Transportations, Athens, Greece. The workshop was attended by more than 200 engineers, among which were university Professors, high ranking Ministry officials and representatives of infrastructure concessionaires. More information

This Workshop intended to provide insights into the probable causes of damage/distress and available methods and techniques of their repair and rehabilitation to enhance their serviceability during the design life.
