RChain Co-op Private Token Sale starts with approximately $5M in intended contributions.

The private token sale for the co-op started on Tue. Aug. 28th and runs through September 28, or until we reach $15 Million (USD).

The response from the developer and investment community is a leading indicator that support continues to broaden. With real dollars flowing in, investors are staking their claim for next-gen blockchain technology. After fixing a glitch in the member registration we have begun the process of accepting memberships, verifying identities and finalizing the payments.

As of Wed. AM (Aug. 30th) we have intended contributions for nearly $5M USD putting us halfway to our goal of 10M, with more inquiries under review.

In Other News

If you didn’t catch the part in the hangouts, the cooperative has submitted it’s applications for all of the 50 states in the USA to accept memberships. Once the processing for the private token sale is complete, the membership sign up process will be made open and available to the general public.

The team has been expanding at quite a pace. If you didn’t get a chance, read the post Welcome Kenny Rowe! where we highlight Kenny’s involvement in the Cooperative as well as the other new team members that have joined the cause. Stay updated through our weekly hangouts because the team is growing faster than we can create medium posts for.

Also HJ with the help of Kenny Rowe and activists in the community have initiated an experiment for a decentralized community reward program. In this section of the last hangout 8/30 HJ demonstrates the process, which uses github issues, and google sheets to create tasks, assign bounties and percentages as rewards. We are truly grateful for all of the activist participation to this point and are proud to develop community governance’ process.
