Dear Campers & Families,
 
Thank you for signing up for our Everett YMCA Specialty Camp happening during the week of August 26-30.  I hope all of your children are excited to spend the week learning new skills and discovering hidden talents. Please find the information below about the camp you are signed up for as well as info on the instructors.  
 

WELCOME TO SPECIALTY CAMP: Cooking w/ Fox in the Forest
  • 7:00 - 9 am - Extended Care (Room 154)
  • 9 am - 12 pm (cafeteria)  Cooking Camp – Through cooking and learning you will explore new tastes from the culinary world and take home recipes in your own cookbook.
  • 12-1 pm - Lunch

  • 1- 4 pm (Room 154 & Outside) Afternoon Activities – Campers will have a chance to play planned group activities outside and recreation activities in Room 154.

  • 4 - 6:00 pm - Extended Care

Camp Location:
Extended Care is in the cafeteria at LOWELL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. 


Where to Sign-in/Sign-out: You will sign your camper in/out each day in the cafeteria at Lowell Elementary. Please remember to bring your ID when picking up at the end of each day. Kids will only be released to a parent or guardian who is listed on the camp registration form with matching ID. If you are signed up for full day, drop off begins at 7:00am and pick up ends at 6:00pm. If you signed up for only the 1/2 day part of camp, there is no care outside of the hours of 9-12pm or 1-4pm depending on if you registered for the AM or PM portion of camp. 


What to Bring Everyday: Backpack or bag, lunch (if full day), two small snacks, large water bottle, sunscreen, appropriate clothes/shoes and a book to read. Due to allergies among school age children, we are a NUT FREE campPlease do not send your camper with any peanut butter or nuts of any kind in their lunches. If your child has allergies, make sure you are sending them with necessary medications and have it documented on their paperwork.  All other equipment needed for camps will be supplied to campers at camp.

Join the Mill Creek YMCA Friday, August 23 for the end of summer block party followed by Outdoor Movie Night at the Y. We will have Arts & crafts, face painting, DinoCrew Northwest, popcorn, Kona Ice, laser tag, climbing wall, music, and more beginning at 6 pm. The movie will begin at dusk.
