 Dear Participants,

Thank you for signing up for our Mill Creek YMCA summer sports camps for August 26-30. I hope the kids are excited to spend the week having fun learning skills and developing self-confidence through activities that teach teamwork, sportsmanship, skill-development, and fun regardless of ability or experience.

Please find the information below about the camp you are signed up for.

Camp Location: Drop off and Pick up is at SILVER LAKE ELEMENTARY.

Where to Sign-in/Sign-out: You will sign your camper in/out each day in the cafeteria at Silver Lake Elementary, on the west side of the school by the field. Once you get into the parking lot, we will have signs directing you where to go. Please remember to bring your ID when picking up at the end of each day. Kids will only be released to a parent or guardian who is listed on the camp registration form with matching ID. The first day of camp you will be given a FASTPASS to fill out that will make the pick up time faster for the rest of the week. Drop off begins at 6:30am and pick up ends at 6:30pm.

What to Bring Everyday: Backpack or bag, lunch, Two small snacks, Large water bottle, Sunscreen, appropriate clothes/shoes and a book to read. Due to allergies among school age children, we are a NUT FREE camp. Please do not send your camper with any peanut butter or nuts of any kind in their lunches. WHO IS RUN TO WIN?
For the 3rd year, we have partnered with Run to Win for our sports camps to provide expert, enriching, and fun experiences for your sports campers. This summer we have added new camps for more advanced players to get the experience they need. Run to Win Camps are designed to “develop winners on and off the playing field”. They emphasize personal and team excellence in a fun environment to encourage, support and develop young athletes mentally, physical and spiritually. Their dynamic and energetic coaches include local high school
athletes and athletes from universities all over the country, including the UW!

Remind App
This summer we are using the app REMIND to help communicate with parents. We will only be using this to let you know if we are running late, reminders, or any immediate updates that are needed. Just text @mcsport to 81010 to get updates. You can opt out at any time.
