Housekeeping

• The Peel Street door code has not changed and is still C5678.  
• Please arrive with sufficient time to change and get ready to go into class at the allocated start time. At KSOD we value respect and safety.  Arriving on time is part of both of these values. It is important for safety reasons students complete the warm up which is the first part of each dance class.
• Before/during class etiquette: We ask that indoor voices are used in the Reception area, and noise is kept to a minimum as it carries into the studio.  Please ensure that our property is treated with respect and that our specialist dance and warm up equipment is used solely for the purposes it is intended.
• We are on the lookout for plant cuttings to add to our garden boxes at Peel St.  If you can help out with anything from your garden, please bring it in.
• If you have any items of uniform that are no longer needed we would appreciate your support in donating them to our second hand uniform shop.  We have demand for pink kinder/primary uniforms and purple ballet skirts.
• Please be aware of and respect our mobile phone policy.  No mobile devices are to be used in the dance studio. (if you would like a copy of the full policy please ask and we can send this to you)
• Make sure you have the concert dates in your diary; see the last mailout for all the important dates for the year.
• School tracksuits and t-shirts are available for sale at Reception.
• Please ensure you are familiar with our fee payment policy available on the website, and note that fees are non-refundable once paid.

Kew School of Dance is part of the exclusive Bloch Privilege Card Program.  Please visit the Camberwell store to pick up a Privilege Card that gives you access to a special discount every time you shop at Bloch.  The Camberwell store is located at Rear 642-644 Burke Road, Camberwell.

PEP 2020

PEP (performance extension program) audition bookings for the Senior Concert of Peter Pan will open on Monday 17 February via Trybooking.  https://www.trybooking.com/BIJES

Note that all entries must be submitted by 12 March and audition fees are non refundable once paid.

The auditions will be held at 12 Peel St, on Sunday 15 March in the morning, details can be found on Trybooking for audition times.

Congratulations

We would like to congratulate Iris Elgar on her acceptance into the Victorian College of the Arts.  Iris graduated from KSOD in 2019 and danced with us for ten years. She is one of a few select students to be accepted into this prestigious course.  She will begin her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance) later this month. We wish her all the best and look forward to watching her dance career develop in the years to come.
