Global Risks in Structural Engineering

The Finnish Group of IABSE together with the Finnish Association of Civil Engineers (RIL) arranged the two-day event ‘Global Risks in Structural Engineering’ from March 10-11, 2016. The aim of the event was to discuss emerging steps needed to ensure safe and functional structures in today’s environment and business culture, and which will set up the theme for the planned 2017 Workshop in Finland. The keynote programme consisted of nine presentations from invited experts from around the world. Panel discussions were run at the end of the both days.
