IABSE Conference Bath 2017
Call for Submission of Abstracts and Session Ideas

How can we encourage greater creativity and imagination in design? This was one of the questions raised by a group of delegates at Congress in Stockholm, who met to discuss the possibility of organising (at relatively short notice) an IABSE Spring Conference in 2017. Imagination and its links to innovation, and how structural engineers, architects and other professionals who influence the built environment use their skills to develop new and exciting solutions to the world’s problems were discussed. From this, an event focussing on creativity and collaboration was formed.

The Organising Committee for IABSE Bath 2017 is now inviting submissions of abstracts for the lecture format sessions and ideas for the seminar format sessions.

Submission deadline is November 28, 2016.
