Ein – trotz alledem! – wunderbares und etwas dramatisches Ausstellungs- und Veranstaltungsjahr geht zu Ende.

Im Februar dieses Jahres eröffnete in der Uhlandstraße 147 in Berlin der erste Bublitz Thesaurós mit der Ausstellung Tempel auf Zeit. Gastgeber war das chinesische Teehaus Jian; und wir und unsere Gäste verliebten uns in die nie gesehene Atmosphäre aus fernöstlichem Bewusstsein und zeitgenössischer Kunst.

Nun sind wir, nach 9 Jahren des Nomadentums und vielfach genossener Gastfreundschaft, auf der Suche nach einem festen Ort für einen neuen Thesaurós. Ab April/Mai nächsten Jahres soll dort die Ausstellungs- und Veranstaltungstätigkeit fortgesetzt werden. *

Ein neuer Thesaurós

Der Gegenstand des neuen Thesaurós bleibt natürlich der alte. Ein Ort an dem Menschen mit bildender Kunst, Literatur, Philosophie, Theologie, Theorie, Poesie u.a.m. genießend und sich bildend zusammenkommen.

Ein Idealbild dieser Kultur und des Kultivierten finde ich dabei im Begriff des 'gemeinsamen ERANOS'. Ein Akt der griechischen Tradition der vom Überbringen gegenseitiger Gastgeschenke und Gaben handelt. Diese bilden wiederum Grundlage für ein gemeinsames Fest, den ERANOS.

Wir suchen also einen angenehmen Raum in Berlin, der gut zu erreichen ist. Dieser wird für Ausstellungs-, Büro- und Salontätigkeit genutzt werden. Die Fläche sollte 100 m² oder mehr groß sein und im besten Fall barrierefrei. Es könnte sich dabei sowohl um ein Ladengeschäft, eine Remise, ein altes Industriegebäude oder um eine Wohnung handeln.

A - despite everything! - wonderful and somewhat dramatic year of exhibitions and events is coming to an end.

In February of this year, the first Bublitz Thesaurós opened at Uhlandstrasse 147 in Berlin with the exhibition Tempel auf Zeit [Temporary Temples]. The host was the Chinese tea house Jian; and we and our guests fell in love with the never-before-seen atmosphere of Far Eastern awareness and contemporary art.

Now, after 9 years of nomadism and much hospitality enjoyed, we are looking for a permanent place for the new Thesaurós. From April / May next year, the exhibition and event activities are to be continued there.

A new Thesaurós

The subject of the new Thesaurós naturally remains the old one. I find an ideal image of this culture and the cultivated in the term of the 'common ERANOS'. An act of the Greek tradition of bringing gifts to one another. These in turn form the basis for a common feast, the ERANOS.

So, we are looking for a pleasant room in Berlin that is easy to reach. This will be used for exhibitions, as an office and for salon activities. The space should be 100 m² or more and ideally barrier-free. It could be a shop on ground level, a coach house, an old industrial building, or an apartment.
