Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from learning to dribble a basketball or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, the Y takes a strong holistic approach to sports.

Our sports are great lifestyle activities that help bring together people with shared athletic and recreational interests - because lifelong rewards come from teamwork, friendly competition, and exercise.

PARKOUR w/ MoveFree Academy

Parkour is a physical discipline that combines the art of play and the science of movement. MoveFree Academy will train you or your child to control their body through fun, physical and mental challenges the way it was meant to be used – movements such as rolling, crawling, balancing, jumping, and vaulting to name a few. Students will also be introduced to our level system as a way to track their progress and see which skills to focus on. The end of the session will include a relaxed competition – a time for students to display their abilities through skill challenges and a speed course. Play games, learn new skills, improve strengths, and dominate obstacle courses while optimizing your human and ninja potential.

  • Classes run Saturdays, October 19 – December 14
