Always Growing in Christ

God Connects

Begins this Saturday January 11 10 am - 12 pm

We are forming an adult Bible Study that will also serve as a membership class for people who are interested in knowing more about Christianity. Whether you have questions about Christ or want to deepen your faith in Him, this class will explore what the Bible says about our God, and how His love gives direction and meaning to your life today and forever. This class is designed for those who are interested in learning or reviewing the foundations of the Christian faith. Attendance at the class may lead to membership in our church, but there are no obligations.

Christian Education

The Children's Christmas Program was held December 15th which included the Sunday School and TCNS children.

An Intergenerational Sunday School class will be held this Sunday at 9:15 am featuring Pastor's talk on Baptism.

Thank you to everyone for a successful Chipotle fundraiser. We raised almost $200 to use to add to our Christian curriculum and materials!
Thank you also to Santa for visiting our classrooms!  The children were so excited to have "the real Santa" come to their room.
Registration for the 2020-2021 school year started January 6th for current families and Trinity Church members.  Registration forms can be found on the church website.  If you have any questions or want to schedule a tour, please email Tracy at

A Message From Adult Christian care

As I closed out 2019 and looked back, I was amazed by the kindness and faithful support for ACC from Trinity Lutheran Church.  All of us here wish we could find the perfect way to say thank you. Whether it is a validation of our work, a positive conversation during weekly service; our Board Member Darla Batjes who also serves as our President, or our newest Board Member Dave Bruschuk, AKA Santa, who drops by weekly with his cheerful demeanor leading our sing-a longs. Overall your generous spirit has touched us more than we can count.

Lastly, Adult Christian Care was blessed by being chosen in December by the 100+ Women Who Care of Elmhurst as their final award recipient of 2019. We were overjoyed by their generous donation. This donation will allow ACC the opportunity to rejuvenate its art program by replenishing much needed supplies, purchase the “right” tools, easels, canvases and explore other forms of art media. Art can help dementia and Alzheimer’s client’s express thoughts, emotions and share memories through painting, drawing, sculpting and other creative projects. Creative arts do not eliminate the illness, but stimulates the brain in new directions, unlocking creativity, communication, and giving the client a sense of self and purpose.

In closing, caring is such a part of who you all are at Trinity Lutheran Church, and we hope you are aware of  the difference it makes for our clients. Thank you and Happy New Year.
